	I chose at least one element of Design (space, shape, line, texture, or color) to include in my home design project, and wrote a detailed paragraph on which one I chose and what I did to include it in my project.	I chose a design element, and I mentioned which one I included in my written assignment, but I didn’t write about what I did to include that element.	I did not write anything about design elements or how I used them in this project.
	I chose at least one principle of design (harmony, proportion, scale, balance, rhythm, or emphasis) to include in my home design project, and wrote a detailed paragraph on which one a chose and what I did to include it in my project.	I chose a principle of design, and mentioned which one I included in my written assignment, but I didn’t write about what I did to include that element.	I did not write anything about principles of design or how I used them in this project.
	My written assignment was well written, including punctuation, spelling and grammar.	My written assignment was for the most part well written, but lacked some punctuation, spelling and grammar.	I did not complete the written assignment.
	My Design Project was neat and well thought out.  Any magazine cutouts I used were neatly cut with scissors and glued down using a glue stick.  My drawings and colorings were also neat and appropriate for the project.	My design project was well thought out, but was not very neat.  Some of my magazine cut outs were ripped, instead of cut.  My drawings were hard to understand and	There was no order or thought put into my project.  Random pieces of magazine were thrown together without any explanation why.
	I turned in my Design Project with my written assignment on the back.  I stapled my notes and my rubric to the front.  All of my papers have my names clearly written	I turned in three of the four projects.	I turned in only one or two of the projects.
