A. 'Tis the Season: Choose a season of the year. Decide what decorative home accessories you would display in a shop window for that season. Create a visual of your window display. Give a rationale for your choices
In my window display I would set up a fake fireplace scene. I would have the backdrop be a fire place with stockings hung on it and a wreath above the mantle. I would have a side table with some of the figurines we sell or a manger scene set up. I would have a Christmas Tree decked out in the decorations sold at the store off a little to the side of the fireplace and I would finish it off with a blanket of fake snow instead of regular carpet or a rug.
This window display will give customers an idea of how the product would work in their own house and they will see how the decorations we sell would look in a set which would encourage them to buy more so everything will match.
